  For building permits use the following formula:

  1. Add up the square footage of the following:

  2. Multiply the TOTAL x $0.06 to calculate the Nonrefundable Plan review deposit;

  3. Add the Nonrefundable Plan review deposit to the $54 application fee to get the total amount the check that must be included with your application.

• If the addition or accessory structure is in a subdivision, the Applicant is responsible for contacting the Homeowner's Association (HOA) and acquiring a letter from them stating that it has reviewed the plans and allows the structure.
• Applicant is responsible for researching deed restrictions.
• No plan will be reviewed until ALL permit requirements have been submitted. The Township does not accept permits applications, or contractor registrations, piecemeal.
• Upon completion of plan review, Applicant will be notified of remaining balance of payment that is due when permit is picked up.
• Applicant must come to Township building to pay remaining balance and pick up permit.
• Total review period is 15 working days.If any application is determined incomplete in the first 2 days, applicant will be notified of outstanding items. Review period will start over only upon receipt of all requirements
